Main features

Another attention-worthy option if you’re looking for a gaming keyboard is this one from Sharkoon. This keyboard was designed for the sole purpose of gaming, so you can expect sweet performance from it. Thanks to selectable 6-key or n-key rollover, anti-ghosting keys, and a polling rate of 1,000 hertz, this keyboard is a decent choice for beginner and advanced gamers alike. There are even more delightful things about this keyboard. For example, it has a special game mode with a disabled Windows key, interchangeable WASD and arrow keys, and various function keys with preset multimedia actions. Another respectable feature that every gaming keyboard should have is adjustable RGB illumination. You can select between different lighting effects according to color, frequency, brightness, and direction. You can even customize the illumination as desired. Sharkoon comes with a meticulous user guide that helps you figure out the subtleties of this keyboard. Last but not least, Sharkoon lets you customize your intuitive gaming software. The downloadable and easy-to-understand gaming software allows the keys to be assigned with multimedia functions and macros. All the customizations you make via the gaming software can be saved in three separate profiles and, when required, exported to the computer for future use.

Design and Comfort

These two criteria are ultimately the most important when looking for a gaming keyboard. With that being said, we have to admit that we liked what Sharkoon has to offer its customers. This full-size keyboard feels heavy, but it’s comfortable to click and use daily. We also discovered that it’s very easy to switch between illumination modes, so that’s an advantage. In addition to being very pleasant to click and use, Sharkoon’s keys are easily replaceable. This keyboard comes with a small tool that helps pull keys from the places. The keys also have other than their main functions written on them. For example, Sharkoon features a specific button for opening your email or calculator, so you can easily access whatever you need directly. Generally speaking, this keyboard is very pleasant to use on a daily basis. However, linear type red switches are very quiet and don’t give tactile feedback, which gamers tend not to like. Naturally, if you prefer receiving this feedback, then you should look at other options on this list.

Value

Sharkoon falls into the more reasonable price range. You do have to pay for shipping, but the total cost is not outrageous. After we’ve tested this keyboard, it was easy to conclude that Sharkoon is a fair value for money. It’s a comfortable full-size keyboard that every gamer, from a complete newbie to an advanced player, can use with delight. Some minor setbacks pushed it down a bit on our list, so you can check our other options if you want to avoid those.
